Portia Lee James DeGeneres (born Amanda Lee Rogers; Jan 31, 1973), known professionally as Portia de Rossi, is an Australian-American actress, model, and philanthropist. She’s best known for playing Nelle Porter on Ally McBeal and Lindsay Fünke on Arrested Development, as well as roles on Better Off Ted (Veronica Palmer) and Nip/Tuck (Olivia Lord). She’s married to comedian and TV host Ellen DeGeneres and currently appears on Scandal as Elizabeth North.
